About Kris Axelson

I love what I do! I'm lucky enough to have worked the many sides of marketing that make it such an amazing career choice. My career began in product development/management on the mostly business-to-business side of this field, working in the wholesale side of travel. In addition to working in a fun industry I was responsible for all aspects of product development from conception to maturity. This included developing marketing plans, forecasting, pricing, negotiating contracts, securing, and managing inventory, analyzing competition, presenting/training, creating promotional programs, collateral, and advertising. It was a textbook example of the 4 Ps of marketing! After leaving this career I loved, I found myself drawn to owning my own business as it allowed me to balance work & family. As an independent salesperson I was able to make an impact in multiple industries while using the promotional side of my marketing skills to increase my sales. For 20 years I made that business what I needed it to be, from earning top sales awards, growing, and mentoring a team, developing sales and presentation skills to learning a ton about customer service. Now that I’ve returned to a corporate marketing position, I’m excited to be helping this company grow at an astonishing rate by using my marketing expertise anywhere needed, from website redesigns to advertising and sales support.
