About Kris Bashenow

Real estate is my passion. I've built homes (yes, I was a framer and a member of the carpenters union many moons ago), worked as an appraiser, renovated houses, am a realtor and a landlord, built a property ownership company and a hospitality company for short term rentals. Book With Bags is the hospitality company for short term rentals. It's named after my husband, who is referred to as "Bags", this is because no one could pronounce his last name when he was younger. It seemed appropriate for the business, because you're booking a stay and bringing your bags. My husband and I renovated all of the short term rental units with the guest in mind. The goal is to provide a unique space with character, that is refreshing for guests. All the properties are pet friendly. The focus is on group stays and providing the environment where people can connect and make memories. I'm always eager to learn about hospitality and improving the short term rental experience for guests, hosts, and communities.
