About Kris Cejka

Kris is a recognized leader with 20 years of oil, gas, and environmental experience. He has worked extensively on major capital project opportunities in decision analysis, strategic planning, commercial negotiations, litigation strategy, as well as corporate strategy, portfolio management, acquisition and divestiture. Kris received his Bachelor’s degree in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Wisconsin and his MBA from the University of San Francisco. Following significant industry experience he joined Chevron USA in 2006 as a global decision analysis consultant and worked to develop projects in the USA, China, Vietnam, Brazil, and others. At the end of 2008 Kris transitioned with Chevron to Australia and was responsible for developing decisions for portfolio, high value investments, new ventures, and commercial opportunities. In 2011 Kris was the Major Capital Project Decision Analysis Manager and Chevron leadership team member responsible for decision support (>US$100B) for the Gorgon Foundation Project, Expansion Project, Stage 2 Project, Jansz-Io Compression Project, New Field Developments, and later the Wheatstone Projects. Kris continued to take on increasing responsibility with Chevron and in 2015 moved to Singapore leading the decision and economic function and analysis for the Asia Pacific region. Kris resigned from Chevron in 2017 and relocated with his family to Australia and in August 2017 took on the role of Commercial and Marketing Manager for Transborders Energy to develop small scale floating LNG for stranded gas resources.
