About Kris Drobot

I am a driven individual with a passion for investing, employed as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at a pension fund, the Civil Service Superannuation Board. I assist in the management of a Canadian equities portfolio where I conduct research, meet with corporate management teams, and provide stock recommendations. I have experience covering a broad range of companies across all sectors of the Canadian equity market, and I apply my strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify attractive investment opportunities in the public markets. As of November 2020, I have earned my Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, having completed the required four years of relevant work experience and passing all three levels of the CFA program exams on my first attempt. Prior to starting my career in the industry, I graduated from the University of Manitoba, I.H. Asper School of Business in Spring 2016 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree and a double major in Finance and Leadership, a complimentary skillset. I have a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines both independently and in team settings, and posses solid analytical and problem solving skills accompanied by exceptional leadership qualities. I set high performance standards for myself and am dedicated to continuous learning and professional/personal development with the goal of being a valuable contributor to the success of any team I am a part of.
