About Kris Mason

Kris currently serves through her role as Director of Quality Support for BrightSpring Health/ResCare Community Living. Her most recent focus is on creating content for web-based, position-specific training programs, and assisting with strategic initiatives around regulatory requirements. Over the last several years her time has been dedicated to providing support to operations that serve the ID/DD population in residential and community settings - by providing staff training on various topic, conducting audits/quality reviews, and designing standard operating procedures. Previously, Kris worked for ResCare Workforce Services. As a Program Director she provided oversight for a work-readiness program focused on serving the needs of job seekers with multiple barriers to employment. She worked with area businesses and collaborated with workforce partner agencies while prioritizing the needs of program employees, internal and external customers, and program participants. In 2013, Kris earned her Masters of Public Administration through Wichita State University. The course work peaked her interest in community based initiatives. She believes creative partnerships among and between public administrators, the business community, educational institutes, and community based organizations are key to sustaining a thriving community at large.
