About Kris Miller

I currently work as a Student Success Manager for Stratford University in Woodbridge, Virginia where I am fortunate to use my enjoyment of interacting to people to help/encourage our students in pursuing their education and employment dreams. My past experiences have helped me in this pursuit. I have managed and opened senior adult recreation and teen centers, managed student workers in a higher education facility, guided medical students in selecting and completing their clerkship's (like an externship), worked in a law firm, been laid off, been “riffed”, and gone back to school as an older adult. All this experience has shown me success is out there, you just need to “go for it!”I grew up as an Army brat and have continued to live the life as an adult. By this I mean that I am always looking for something new. I love to travel and have been to several countries. I have maintained a steady working life, but have moved to different communities just to experience them. And have met wonderful people along the way and gained knowledge from them that I have taken to my different jobs. How can that not be a good life! My goal each day is to do the best I can in my personal life, my work life, and help/encourage others.
