I was most recently a Program Manager and Team Lead at Microsoft as a vendor for Chinasoft International on an operations support team that supports the built-in applications on Windows 8 (News, Sports, Weather aggregators etc.) along with msn.com. I was with the team for two and a half years and was a team lead from October of 2012 to October of 2015. A few of my responsibilities included the following: •Maintain and cultivate business relationships with our Microsoft management. •Work with various Microsoft feature teams to onboard new areas of responsibility for my support team. •Help troubleshoot and manage live site impacting incidents. •Approving and onboarding new troubleshooting guides (TSGs) for our team to use. •Driving improvement of the current knowledgebase and TSGs from multiple feature teams. •Weekly live site affecting incident reporting fidelity, which includes driving quality improvements from our global 24/7 team. •Weekly Metrics for how we are meeting our SLAs and reporting to our Microsoft management. Previously I worked for Viking Bank (Now AmericanWest Bank) where I was the Senior IT Technician and was responsible for leading the bank through a major data migration, a financial software upgrade as well as a datacenter move and co-location all taking place within 6 months.
