Lt Col Kris A. Ostrowski is an Aerospace Physiologist for the United States Air Force. He provides and manages traditional aircrew and remotely piloted aircraft operator classroom instruction within the subjects of human factors, fatigue resource management, crew resource management, and hypoxia recognition. Kris is also a flight safety officer and former deployed Chief of Safety specializing in remotely piloted aircraft and traditional aircraft mishap analysis. As a human systems integration consultant, he has participated in various aeronautical projects to include aircraft design and development, test and evaluation, and retrofit. Kris successfully defended his dissertation entitled,"Psychological Health Outcomes within USAF Remotely Piloted Aircraft Support Career Fields" in 2016. His doctorate was achieved in safety and human factors within the Ph.D. in Aviation program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. A commercially rated civilian pilot and instructor, has 2,200 hours of pilot-in-command flight time.
