About Kris Reimer

Kris is a lifelong student of leadership, serving in many leadership roles in both business and not for profit organizations. His passion lies in building environments where people can trust each other instead of just working together. He believes that we should be building communities within the businesses that we run, that benefit all that are involved. Kris spent ten years in the construction industry, working in different trades from framing. finishing, painting, Electrical and exterior finishing. When he was 26 he ventured out and started his own construction company. He worked at this for the next 3 years, as his family grew and the economy changed at 29 he was looking for new opportunities. In 2011 he had the opportunity to join the Team at Selkirk Signs making a switch from the construction industry to manufacturing. Kris worked his way from a fabrication worker to the VP of Sales and Marketing over the next 6 years and has not looked back. Selkirk has provided him with an outlet to continue to grow his leadership ability and help shape the culture of Selkirk while allowing him to pursue his passions in leadership and the building of trust in healthy communities.
