About Krish Hashia

I'm an engineer passionate about building scalable, practical AI systems—bridging research with real-world impact. Currently, I’m a Software Engineer Intern at ATS Corporation, working on multi-modal information systems. From improving query accuracy in vision-language models to optimizing large-scale pipelines on Azure, I focus on solving real-world problems through applied AI. Previously at IBM, I developed an automated fine-tuning pipeline for Transformer models, increasing accuracy by 15% while cutting manual effort in half. I also contributed to full-stack tools that enhanced response generation by over 60%. My academic research at UVCE led to a publication in Springer on bias detection in social media. That experience continues to shape my interest in building AI systems that are transparent, efficient, and fair. My ongoing research work focuses on novel, optimized systems that enable greater security for the wide diaspora of users on social media platforms. Outside internships, I enjoy exploring emerging AI advancements and building open-source tools that solve real-world problems. Several of my ongoing projects and research papers are currently under peer review at leading conferences.
