About Krisha Iquin
I’m a Software Engineering student passionate about Distributed Systems and Embedded Systems, with hands-on experience in Python, Rust, and C/C++. I interned at Industrial Light & Magic, where I developed API for Python using PyO3 to interface with Rust-native software management system. I also automated server-side cleanup, and worked with CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes. I enjoy exploring how complex systems communicate and scale, which led me to build a distributed chat system in Go from scratch. It includes a custom RPC framework and causal message ordering using vector clocks. On the hardware side, I’m currently working with the Bionics Design Team on a haptic feedback system for a bionic arm, writing Rust code for a Raspberry Pi to interpret pressure sensor input and control a vibration motor over SPI. I’m excited by problems that require systems-level thinking, tight performance constraints, and creative debugging.
