About Krishan Singh
I have an incredible amount of passion in anything creative. I realised this as a kid when I sat there for hours sketching almost anything. At 16, I had been drawing for nearly ten years, and I wanted to explore other fields of inventiveness. For years I would always be capturing images on my phone, so I decided to take a L3 BTEC Photography course to learn the basics of picture taking. Instantly I started to appreciate the visuals taken by phenomenal photographers and began to create a style for myself. I particularly enjoy taking images of people as emotions alone can make compelling photos. Protest photography was where I started to stand out. My work has been featured by the record label Scruff Of The Neck and the creative platform Fuse Manchester. After doing Photography for nearly three years, I started branching into Videography. I particularly admire documentary-style filmmaking, as documentary-style street photographers heavily influence the images I capture. I want to start creating more film pieces this year and delve deeper into the art.
