Welcome! I’m Krishawna Goins, an educator, innovator, and changemaker dedicated to fostering a socially sustainable world by empowering learners and leaders to transform their communities. My work bridges culturally responsive teaching, project-based learning, next generation competencies (computer science and digital literacy and citizenship), and equity-centered professional learning for educators to create classrooms that inspire leadership, innovation, and a commitment to impact. As an Equity Lead, I guide educators in building inclusive, transformative learning spaces that empower students to tackle real-world challenges and become changemakers. Beyond the classroom, I co-founded Women X Meta, an edtech startup working to advance financial and technological literacy, leadership development, and social innovation for youth and marginalized people across generations. At Fair Share Publishing, I craft literacy-rich learning experiences designed to build connections between families and their communities through the joy of reading. I’m driven by the belief that education has the power to ignite lasting social change and that equipping the next generation with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to lead can create a more equitable and sustainable world.
