About Krishiga Selvasingam

I am currently working at EY as a staff accountant in the Assurance Practice, specifically within the Toronto Audit Group. While working at EY I hope to gain valuable experience that will assist me in obtaining my CPA designation. I hope to write the CFE in the coming years in order to continue my journey in pursuing my CPA designation. Previously, I have obtained a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from York University, as well as a Bachelors in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo with a specialization in Chartered Professional Accounting. During my undergrad I was able to complete two successful co-op terms at a small CPA accounting firm, and another two with the TTC. These two very different experiences showed me how complex businesses can be, and my decision to pursue a CPA designation comes from desire to be a part of creating real-world business and personal finance solutions.
