About Krishit Arora

I’m currently pursuing the Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and I’m interested in Software Engineering, Product Management and Robotics-related roles. At CMU, I'm taking courses about Robot Learning Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Inverse Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning, Online Learning and High-Performance Computing. I am working on increasing my skillset in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Localization & Mapping in Robotics. I have an undergraduate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from VIT University, Vellore, India. I began my tryst with Robotics during an internship at Invento Robotics, where I worked on the Mitra Robot. Working to create a positive impact on society through technology, I founded an initiative called Anant Ujwala, promoting renewable energy. I also volunteer with and like to participate in hackathons. I appreciate the meaningful applications of emerging technologies to solve real-world problems. I have held various leadership roles at university and school. I am a creative thinker when it comes to ideation, product/policy design & implementation. I thrive on working in cross-functional roles that span across various domains like engineering, strategy, design, production etc. I like discussions & debates and enjoy digging deep into concepts, with passion & curiosity. That being said, I hold a dynamic view of unlearning and relearning, without prejudice or an emotional attachment to my own point of view. I like to read, write, debate and play squash, the flute & the guitar.
