Dr Krishna Deo Tripathi is an IAS Officer in Madhya Pradesh. He is posted as Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education in Bhopal. As he has keen interest in the field of education, he made special arrangements for the conduct of Board Exams in leak proof manner. Also several steps are being initiated in the reforms and transformation of the assessment process in accordance with the NEP 2020. Previously he had been Collector/DM of Distt Umaria in Madhya Pradesh. Distt Umaria, well known for Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, is primarily tribal dominated Distt with large forest cover. Earlier also as part of Distt Administration, during 1996-2018 he worked in rural areas in various capacities including CEO ZP/ADM/SDM etc in several Distt and Tehsils of State of Madhya Pradesh. As State head of State AIDS Control Society of Madhya Pradesh he worked towards Prevention and Control of spread of HIV-AIDS in the State of Madhya Pradesh, under the direction and guidance of National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Delhi. Earlier, as researcher he did his PhD in Plasma Physics, from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Plasma is fourth state of matter. He studied behaviour of such high temperature realistic matter, with many diverse practical applications, resulting in publication of the outcome in Journals of international reputation. Native of Prayagraj, his early schooling was done in Prayagraj (Allahabad) of Uttar Pradesh. He did his graduation and post-graduation from Allahabad University.
