Chemical Engineer with rich experience in API Mfg, in Formulation Mfg. and Project function PROFESSIONAL HISTORY : Overall experience of over 23 years in the areas of : Mfg. of API’s & Formulation Products, Project Management and R&D – API function in the Pharma industry with more than 6 years at senior Management levels. AREAS MANAGED : During these years, have been engaged in managing the Mfg. operations,project management and R&D – API of leading Indian Pharma companies having major business in reg. markets like USA, UK, Japan,Europe,Australia etc. Practically experience in most functions related to Pharma mfg. like Projects, Operations, Process & Utility Automation solutions, R&D, QA/Regulatory, HSE. Worked closely with the Top and Sr. Management, besides interfacing with the cross functional teams across the organisations. Vast experience and knowhow of APIs and Formulation dosage forms including Project concept designing,Basic & Detail Engg, Startup, Commissioning,Qualification,Validation and Mfg. activities ( High Vol. & Small Vol.) Have led greenfield and expansion projects for the setting up of Pharma Mfg. plants for API’s like general therauptic category & Oncology products. Actively involved in Audits from US FDA, TGA-Australia, COS from EDQM for API and many important international customer Audits. Audited international API's manufactures,visited international organisations,exhibitions. Supported equipment manufacturers to design & fabricate the better version machines with salient features meeting current Pharma manufacturing guidelines. Involved with International clients for dealing with designs compliant to FM standards.
