Hi, I’m Krishna Patel — a former QA Analyst turned cybersecurity professional with a passion for securing systems and applications. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM) under Gujarat Technological University. Originally from Anand, Gujarat, I began my career in software quality assurance, where I spent 5+ years mastering manual, automation, API, and performance testing. To transition into cybersecurity, I pursued Postgraduate Diplomas in Cybersecurity Operations and Offensive Cyber Security from York University, Ontario, Canada. I’ve also earned leading industry certifications including OSCP, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, and CEH, solidifying my offensive security and blue team capabilities. I'm currently working as an Application Security Analyst at Time Doctor, LLC, where I perform web, API, and internal network penetration tests, coordinate vulnerability management, and support secure SDLC practices. My core skill set includes: • Web & network penetration testing (Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, BloodHound, Mimikatz, CME, etc.) • Red & purple team assessments, Active Directory attacks, and exploit chaining • Vulnerability triage, risk scoring (CVSS), and remediation guidance • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT & CK, CWE, and threat modeling • Automation of security tasks using Python and Bash • Security report writing for both technical and executive audiences 🧠 Outside work, I actively sharpen my skills through Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, home lab testing, and staying up to date via security blogs and podcasts.
