I have been associated with the Sales, Marketing Function as well as heading Businesses. Formulation & implementation of Strategy has been my hallmark. Have worked in the field of Consumer Durables that includes Domestic Appliances, Kitchen appliances, Fans as well as Lighting products for over 3 decades. Have handled multiple portfolios across locations with a bandwidth to lead and manage large number of people. Gained expertise in both B2C and B2B forms of business. Have been working with Bajaj Electricals Limited since last 5 years. Held and holding a senior management position in the organisation. Started my stint with Bajaj as VP and Head of Sales for the Luminaires business Unit. Then after 3 years in this role was elevated as Executive Vice President and Business Head of the LIghting BU. Was responsible for the P&L as well as Sales and Marketing Functions of the Business Unit. With effect from 1/4/16 have assumed office as Executive VIce President and Country Head for Trade Sales for the entire range of Consumer Products namely Fans, Lighting, Kitchen and Domestic Appliances. In this role there are 3 sub verticals I am responsible for namely Trade Sales, Trade Marketing as well as the Trade Distribution through TOC function. Responsibilities including manage and work force in excess of 500 people as well as delivering a large sales turnover which contributes to almost 40% of the estimated turnover of the organisation.
