About Krishna Sirohi

Krishna is having over 30 years of experience of Research & Development in the field of Telecommunication & Defense communication products design. Krishna is currently 'Professor of Practice' at Bharti School of Telecom Technology and Management at IIT Delhi and leading recent initiative of establishing Academia and Industry Collaboration for Research Translation and for the development of field-worthy products ahead of state-of-art to meet emerging national needs. Prior to join IIT Delhi, he had established i2TB Research foundation, a Non-for-Profit Indian Company, which is involved in Innovation enabling, Standardization, Research, and high technology competency development. I2TB Research Foundation is nurturing few Technology Startup initiatives in India in the field of ICT emerging technologies and services. As strategic advisor for product definition, engineering, development methodology and business collaborations, he had contributed to some high-technology development organizations in the field of Wireless Technology (4G-LTE/5G Access & Network), Millimeter Wave Technology based product for strategic communication and commercial network applications, Network Security and IOT based systems and solution. His prior contribution to indigenous R&D projects includes: a) India’s first indigenous Large Capacity Digital Switch at Indian Telephone Industries Limited (ITI). b) India’s first indigenous Command, Control, Communication & Intelligence (C3I) for Indian Navy Warfare Ship at Bharat Electronics Limited. c) Established and headed Mobile Technology development division in CDOT d) Established (as CTO, VNL) India’s first Mobile telecom R&D & Successful Manufacture. e) Guided complex product development initiatives in the field of network monitoring and cyber security.
