I am Krissy Doyle-Thomas (PhD), Neuroscientist, Professor, and Academic Coordinator, passionate about advancing inclusive mental health care and education. I bridge research, teaching, and community engagement to improve health outcomes for Canada’s diverse communities. Research & Equity Focus I specialize in developing culturally responsive approaches to mental health care, ensuring that research design, participation, and knowledge translation reflect the voices of underrepresented communities to improve health outcomes. My work focuses on creating engagement strategies that increase representation in health research, co-designing mental health strategies that are relevant and accessible, and advising on diversity, equity, and inclusion practices to improve outcomes for Canadians from historically excluded groups. Academic Expertise & Leadership With extensive experience in post-secondary education, I develop and deliver graduate-level curriculum, mentor students and faculty, and collaborate with health and community organizations. My approach integrates research and practice, preparing the next generation of professionals to deliver equitable, evidence-informed care.
