PROJECT COORDINATION More than 10 years’ experience working on complex and diverse projects in event management, communications, and stakeholder and media relations within Government, Energy, and Distribution. LEADERSHIP Provided strategic advice and recommendations on events, policy files, funding programs and engagement activities to Members of Parliament and Cabinet Ministers. This included the application of multi-billion-dollar Federal Budgets and funding programs such as the Building Canada Fund. STRATEGIC PLANNING Developed and implemented a corporate Lobbying and Political Fundraising procedure, Communication plans, and an External Complaints Management procedure to reduce risk of damage to corporate reputation for one of the highest profile energy projects in British Columbia. BRANDING Oversaw the refinement and execution of a corporate branding policy, led the redesign and launch of new websites in both the Energy and Distribution industries to improve usability, emphasize corporate messaging, and build brand recognition. COMMUNICATIONS Successfully navigated the unique demands of engagement and media relations with one of the largest projects to come to BC with the complexities inherent in energy projects in todays’ political climate. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT Established and maintained strong relationships with elected officials and staff in all levels of government, and local industry groups, businesses representatives and individuals from various political backgrounds while working in Government and Energy.
