About Krista Ceccolini
Hi! I am a bilingual Senior Instructional Designer with over 13 years of teaching and educational development experience in K-12 and post-secondary environments. I currently work full-time for Egale Canada, a 2SLGBTQI not-for-profit organization and part-time as a freelance Instructional Designer. I have seen firsthand how poorly designed training can greatly decrease engagement, impact self-esteem, and affect productivity (among countless other things). But it doesn't have to be that way! My favourite part about being an Instructional Designer is turning complex topics into clear, fun, and accessible learning opportunities. I also love collaborating with a team to share ideas and learn new skills. When it comes to tech tools, I am most proficient in H5P, Articulate Rise 360, Vyond, Pressbooks, Wordpress, Moodle, Docebo, D2L, Blackboard, Snagit, and Camtasia - to name a few. That said, I learn new tech tools very easily, especially since new technologies are emerging every day! When I'm not working, I am either spending time with my two kids or reading a good book.
