About Krista Duerr

My effective skill set has assisted clients with emotional, neurological, and behavioral deficits along with their Autism and/or other disorders (OCD, ODD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome). As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, my goal is to achieve client’s independence with the use of generalization and in natural environmental teachings, mechanisms used to assist with personal goals based off of a functional behavior plan, and allowing the client to, in whatever flexible aspect, have a voice. I find that promoting independence can be accomplished through reinforcement and shaping procedures, and in teaching families how to actively participate in Applied Behavior Analysis within their daily routine. I currently serve Ocean & Monmouth Counties of New Jersey.
