About Krista Engler

Hi, I'm Krista Engler, an art director & digital designer based in Charleston, South Carolina. I've been a creative professional for over a decade, working across disciplines and mediums to craft compelling, visually striking designs for a diverse range of clients. I’ve spent my career in small agencies where I played a key role in streamlining workflows and establishing efficient processes. I thrive on collaboration, knowing the best work comes from the right mix of strategy, creativity, and bouncing ideas off others. I also love mentoring junior designers, helping them grow their skills while refining the work itself. I call sunny Charleston, South Carolina home, where I live with my husband, Chris, and our ridiculously cute Welsh corgi, Mack. When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me outside—hiking, gardening, or getting lost in a good dystopian sci-fi novel. I’m also a fiber artist and spend my free time making quilts and garments, and lately, I’ve even been learning to play the bagpipes (yes, really!).
