Organized, detailed oriented senior accounting professional with 20+ years work experience in various industries including oil and gas, telecommunications, retail and medical/health. Team player who takes complete ownership of assigned duties and responsibilities to provide the most competent, comprehensive result possible for management. Graduated from UNT in Denton, Texas August 1990 with a BS in accounting and MS in managerial accounting earning a 3.65 undergrad GPA and a 3.9 grad GPA. Passed the CPA in 1992 after 2 consecutive sittings, passing 3 parts in the first sitting and Audit in the second sitting. Started corporate career at Maxus Energy Corporation as a fixed assets accountant working in the domestic assets accounting area. Have worked for various other concerns such as DSC Communications, former developer, manufacturer and distributor of telephonic equipment, a concern later taken over by Alcatel, FGB Realtor Advisors, real estate concern that managed RTC properties while they were on the market, and Citizens Communications, a medium-sized telecommunications company later absorbed by Frontier Communications. Have worked for Concentra for almost 8 years as first a Center Accountant and now a Senior Accountant in the Center Accounting department managing financial duties for Concentra's medical centers in the Midwest states. In my spare time, I enjoy working out in Zumba classes, painting wooden Christmas ornaments and decorations, reading, hiking and photographing nature.
