About Kristel Packard

People often say “I’m in Hospitality” but in my opinion many do not grasp what that truly means. I pride myself on my understanding of and exemplifying the ever so frequently used word “Hospitality”. Having begun my career in restaurants at the early age of 14 and immersing myself in all facets of customer service since that point it is now very much WHO I AM. My extensive experience in the industry from line level positions in all hotel departments to Restaurant Management, both fine dining and short order, to Residential & Hotel Management ranging 3-5 Stars has provided a vast range of knowledge that has shaped my career to be well rounded in all aspects of Hospitality. I'm a proven leader. A key I pride my career on is being able to manage people while developing them. One of my favorite sayings is “Each One Must Teach One” Everyone has different strengths and learning styles and being able to help your team find and grow their own career by effective communication, proper training and ultimately empowering them to be successful creates a mutual respect for not only me their manager but the company overall. My proven track record of dedicated and loyal employees are the key to that other ever so frequently used word “TEAMWORK”. I'm a confident individual with reputation of exceeding goals however I am also humble and eager to continue my own growth and learning, like the favorite saying I referenced above. I am always looking for someone to teach me something new. I am a problem solver and effective communicator, I believe that guests and employees alike simply want to be heard and respected enough to have their words addressed, my communication with them will make or break their opinion and experience. I am passionate and detail oriented to fault. I strive for perfection. I am a Hospitality professional, a Mother of 4, a Wife, a Homemaker and an amateur Flamenco Dancer. My own personal challenge is remembering that success lies in the Balance.
