About Kristen Gardner

I have been in education for eight years. I student taught in Columbia, Missouri at New Haven Elementary. Here I was able to spend time in a classroom of every age. I spent the last half of the school year in a third grade classroom where I collaborated with my lead teacher. From there, I taught third grade for one year in Odessa, Missouri, three years in Jackson, Missouri, and two years in Sappington, Missouri. My current role is as an elementary principal in Lemay, Missouri. I have had the opportunity to serve on leadership teams, write and create new curriculum for a district, and grow as a strong educator in all four districts. I also have my masters degree in elementary administration where I received my K-8 Principals Certification. Additionally, I have my specialist degree in school administration which allows me to be a superintendent of schools. Finally, I received my doctorate in educational leadership from William Woods University. I am passionate about learning and teaching. I am extremely organized and am an expert at time management. I am internally driven and I love to push myself to try new things.
