Background
About Kristen Marshall
I am a Scotland-based academic building a research profile whilst building student-centered approaches into my daily activities. My doctoral research explores the effect of social media influencers on consumer’s food choices with a particular focus on consumers who identify as Foodies. My latest research is looking at the role of social media as a disseminator of information around perimenopause and the impact this has on perimenopausal women and their interactions with GPs. I am currently teaching several Digital Marketing courses and have experience teaching across a range of Marketing subjects – both face-to-face and online. Away from work, I am a bit of a homebody. I love spending time with my husband, three kids and dog in our fixer-upper house.
