About Kristen Penney

As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist and Professional Technologist, I lead the Quotations team for the Atlantic Provinces at Wolseley Canada. As a supervisor, I am responsible for managing the quotations department; assessing, managing, and delegating all incoming project bid opportunities. I provide and report statistics of services generated by the team, train, lead and provide my team with all resources and support required for them to excel professionally and personally. Since graduating in 2016, I began my career working as a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector, as well as a Construction Monitor at the Muskrat Falls Hydro Electric project. I played an important role in implementing, developing and maintaining site-specific quality procedures and inspections according to the company's policies, procedures, technical specs and engineering drawings. I consider myself to be an out-going and detail-orientated person and am proficient at building and maintaining professional relationships within my network to ensure that I can provide appropriate support where and when needed for my customers.
