I have 20+ years experience in business with a concentration in development/implementation of strategic marketing campaigns. I have a comprehensive understanding of client needs, expectations and what organizational skills must be applied to each project in keeping with the company’s key messaging and branding. As principal of Kristen Waddell Consulting, I am responsible for account management in public relations, marketing, social media, direct mail, advertising, web development and special events for my clients. My newest (side) venture is marketing the clean-crafted wine world! I've joined Scout & Cellar as Executive Consultant, where I intend to educate my fellow wine drinkers of the health benefits of clean-crafted wine. I have worked as Social Media Director for Memphis Health and Fitness Magazine, Interim Editor at VIP Memphis Magazine and is a contributing writer for At Home Memphis and MidSouth, Health and Fitness and StyleBlueprint. Other notable projects include Communication Director for Vintage901, Race Director for Legal Legs for Justice 5K, PR Director for Race for Grace, organizer for Opera in the Park, Germantown Charity Horse Show Juleps in June and Dress for Success Little Black Dress. I have served on the Board of Turkey Trotters, the Advisory Board of Memphis Youth Coalition and volunteer for Memphis Fashion Week and Gift of Life MidSouth. I am a past Board President of the Commission on Missing and Exploited Children (COMEC), have served on the Board of Volunteer MidSouth and I am a past member of Le Bonheur Club, PRSA, BRAVO and Impact Memphis. I completed Leadership Memphis' Fast Track program in Spring 2008 and have volunteered for Dress For Success and the Pink Palace. Previously, I was Senior Associate at Howell Marketing Strategies, managing the staff and client workload. Prior to my agency position, I managed the Event Invitation and Volunteer Recruitment programs in the Membership Marketing Department at Ducks Unlimited National Headquarters and was a financial/account manager at Lawrence & Russell. I received my B.A. from the University of Arkansas with a double major in Sociology and Criminal Justice.
