About Kristen Walker

With more than 10 years of experience in product development, I lead our product team at Mintel, the global leader in consumer market intelligence and analysis. In this role I oversee the strategy, innovation and management of Mintel's product portfolio, ensuring our products meet the needs and expectations of our clients and stakeholders. I have the privilege of working with a diverse and talented team of product managers and designers who work collaboratively to create and launch impactful and client-centric solutions that provide actionable insights and recommendations. I also partner with our executive group and cross-functional leaders to align the product vision and roadmap with the company's goals and priorities. In my previous roles at Mintel, I was responsible for the product development of the Americas region, where I successfully launched and scaled several new and existing products. I also drove the product innovation and differentiation for the region, leveraging data, technology and customer feedback to identify and validate new opportunities and features. I am passionate about creating products that empower our clients to make better decisions and grow their businesses. My background in journalism and consulting gives me a unique perspective and skill set to communicate effectively, understand the market dynamics and anticipate the needs and challenges of our customers. I am also committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and diversity within my team and across Mintel.
