About Kristene Main

I am a dedicated educator with 4 years of experience in education, currently serving as a 2nd grade teacher at Conroe ISD. My commitment to creating engaging, supportive learning environments has been recognized through the Rising Star Teacher Award, a distinction awarded by the district to honor outstanding educators who demonstrate excellence early in their careers. Along with teaching, I actively mentor new teachers, collaborate with my grade-level team, and contribute to campus initiatives that strengthen family and community connections. I am also completing my Nonprofit Management Certification program at Texas A&M University, which will build directly toward my Master’s in Public Administration. This academic journey reflects my dedication to expanding my impact beyond the classroom and preparing for leadership roles in the nonprofit and public service sectors. My long-term goal is to transition into nonprofit management or public administration, where I can apply my background in education, program development, and community engagement to address social needs and strengthen communities.
