About Kristi Holum

Kristi Holum, LPC, has 16 years of experience working with adolescents and is committed to helping them achieve their full potential. Having been a high school teacher she understands the stress, demands, and trials that they face. In addition to teens, Kristi works with adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as an effective means to treat anxiety, depression, substance use and more. She is passionate about providing a safe and interactive environment in which clients can tackle difficult subjects or a place to speak the things they never thought they would say out loud. Kristi uses a strengths-based approach to look at things from a behavioral level and urge clients into action. She received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University in Nebraska in 2015. Since that time she has worked with children, adolescents, couples, and families. She has also facilitated groups on co-occurring disorders, stress management, coping skills, and work/life balance. Currently she is working on her certificate in Experiential Therapy to increase her scope of work.
