About Kristi Langslet

Sommerfly is a company that specializes in sensory-based therapeutic products that help people of all ages who struggle with the effects of anxiety, restlessness, sensory processing dysfunction, and many other dysfunctions that interfere with sleep, focus and calm. Working as an Occupational Therapist for over 36 years, I graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Occupational Therapy, received Sensory Integration and Praxis Test Certification (SIPT) and completed Neurodevelopmental Training (NDT). I earned my BFA in Fine Arts/Sculpture from The Rhode Island School of Design. I have designed all of the products we offer at Sommerfly. We test our products rigorously for premium design refinement, safety and quality. Our products are designed to stay on the body and stand the test of time. Sommerfly was awarded The Small Business Administration's Knight Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence in 2019, as well as the RI Occupational Therapy Association's award for 2020 Innovator of the year. Our products are used and heralded by leading Behavioral Health Institutions, Hospitals, Emergency Departments, Children's Hospitals, VA Medical Facilities, Schools and many other Care Facilities. As an artist and designer I am always working to develop new products to help with sleep, focus, and calm.
