About Kristi M.

My careers in training and development, nonprofit leadership, and environmental education have three commonalities: high-energy delivery and engagement, developing events and online tools to meet diverse learning styles, and long-term growth project management through teamwork. My sweet spot is creating the foundations for others to thrive, learn, and protect the world. Changing the world starts with Little Changes and knowing how to activate a culture with a brand or message. The Savvy Women's Alliances was a national membership association executed from my vision to implementation, offering both online learning tools and traditional chapters. Development included board recruitment and development, volunteer team building, chapter launches, voice, blog creation, growth, donors, events, and strategy. I am also the founder of Choose Wiser, where I house my services as a speaker, speaker coach, and author. I chronicled my journey from breast cancer to health and wellness activist in my book, Little Changes: Tales of a Reluctant Eco-Enthusiast. Little Changes was honored to be awarded the Living Now 2014 Evergreen Medal for being a 'world-changing book of this millennium. Through Choose Wiser, I became a national speaker on environmental health. I've presented to audiences across the U.S, including hospitals, women's conferences, colleges and universities, the Natural Foods Products Expo, and the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit.
