About Kristi Rose

With 17 years of experience across the oil and gas, professional services, non-profit and financial services sectors, I have held positions specializing in business development, strategic partnership development, marketing, and communications. My entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and adaptability have helped me build strong, collaborative relationships and drive meaningful success for the organizations I’ve worked with throughout my career. Currently, I lead Business Development for H&R Block Canada, overseeing our national partner program, affiliate marketing initiatives, and the development of business tools and training for over 50 District Managers and our expansive franchise network. Collaborating with internal and external partners, my mission is to expand our value proposition and establish competitive differentiation to drive client acquisition, satisfaction and retention. Previously, as Marketing and Communications Manager at ERA, a national non-profit organization, I broadened my skill set to include public engagement, PR, media relations, sponsorships, and community programs. I managed a diverse portfolio that included digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, event planning, and advertising. My earlier experience includes consulting for Guest Automation, where I developed marketing strategies, oversaw CRM implementation, and crafted annual marketing plans to sustain a robust sales pipeline. As the Calgary Business Development Specialist for Dentons, a leading global law firm, I managed local and national business development strategies, including proposal management and business planning. My journey began in 2008 at geoLOGIC Systems, where I served as Marketing & Communications Lead. I successfully executed marketing plans, managed budgets, organized events, and collaborated with senior leaders to capture and realize their vision through strategic content development and web presence.
