About Kristin Sleeper

I'm a people person and as long as I can remember, I've always been drawn to work that involves customer service and helping others develop their potential. From my first job as a waitress to a long career in consulting, I find it very rewarding when I can exceed someone's expectations and know that I made a difference for them.I was fortunate early in my consulting career to discover my love for learning and development and helping people prepare for change - it was the perfect fit for what makes me tick! It began with large system implementations and helping my clients prepare their organization for the changes the new technology would have on their day-to-day job. I developed relationships with employees as I worked with them to understand their current way of working and prepare for the new processes, procedures and tasks coming their way. I always put myself in their shoes and used this perspective when developing learning, communications or other key deliverables to prepare them for the change. I learned early on that adapting to change isn't easy for many people and realized this was the type of work I wanted to do.Jump to today where I am responsible for building and maintaining relationships and developing learning solutions that help employees succeed. To be successful, I've developed skills in problem solving, project management, leadership and communications to name a few. I find that these skills have also translated well into family life. As with work, life can throw you many curve balls and how you handle those moments reveals your character. In the end, I want my family, colleagues and customers to see me as a partner who is on their side and looking out for their best interest. I want to make a difference for them.
