About Kristina Kirkpatrick

I am currently employed by Janesville's oldest employer and business, The Janesville Gazette. I currently hold a position as a mailroom clerk, but have also filled in, in the Classified Advertising department, creating ads in InDesign by Adobe. Organizational and customer service skills have been the biggest highlights in these positions, although staying self-motivated to finish tasks is also a huge part of the job. I was employed in the Workforce Development field for over seven years, providing employment and training resources to job seekers from all walks of life. I have worked with disabled job seekers in a one-on-one setting, in which I was assisting them with finding and maintaining employment. I have also worked as a policy specialist on workforce programs for the state. My goals are to be able to assist people with employment so that they may become self-sufficient in life. Specialties: Training, organizing events, policy writing, special populations, employment and training programs, survey creation via SurveyMonkey, Office Suite, presentations, and limited HTML coding.
