As the president of Hebert Group, our group of companies includes Hebert Grain Ventures a progressive, innovate crop farm in Southeast Saskatchewan, Maverick Ag, a company that provides strategic advisory and consulting services to the agriculture, financial, insurance, government, and agtech sectors, I have over 20 years of experience in solving complex problems and creating win-win opportunities for clients, partners, shareholders and stakeholders. My core competencies include new business development, analytical skills, entrepreneurial, team leadership, and visionary thinking. I am passionate about harnessing the power of innovation and technology to catapult the agriculture industry, allowing it to harness its true potential through the opportunities ahead. Furthermore, addressing the global challenges of food security and sustainability. As an advisory board member at Emmertech Venture Capital, a fund that invests in Canadian agtech and food-tech startups, I contribute to shaping the future of the sector and supporting the growth of emerging entrepreneurs.
