About Kristopher Burger

As a General Manager at AMC Theatres, I oversee daily operations, drive financial performance, and strive for excellence in guest satisfaction at a newly renovated and expanded AMC branded location in a market that was previously not under our circuit. I have worked in the theatrical exhibition industry over 12 years. I recent have been recognized as the AMC 2022 GM of the Year as well as the recipient of 2 of the 2022 category awards for both People & Guest Service Performance Awards. This comes following a prior year 2021 GM of the Year Award Nomination. I have a deep passion for delivering exceptional experiences to our guests and creating a positive, engaging & rewarding culture for the teams I have had the opportunity in leading. I have been involved in testing and launching several leadership development programs, facilitating classroom training, as well as supporting the transition & opening of multiple remodels new builds across several different markets. Doing so has helped me take on various other tasks such as being a member of the Talent Board, Market Trainer, and GM Development Partner Launch Team contributing to talent acquisition, retention, and development of peers. Additionally, I have an extensive history/background in esports. Having filled numerous shoes in the industry, I have competed, coached, and managed professional teams and players in several major titles over 10 years, which gives a unique and valuable insight into the entertainment and gaming industries.
