About Kristopher Prickett

Kristopher Prickett is a seasoned disaster recovery and healthcare risk and resiliency professional with more than 15 years of experience in building critical infrastructure resiliency and continuity across the disaster recovery and healthcare risk management spectrum. Kristopher has a proven track record of success leading national, state, and local level emergency response and financial recovery operations including spearheading the initial financial recovery response of multiple healthcare entities seeking federal reimbursement for combined eligible costs in excess of $500 million dollars related to the COVID-19 pandemic response. In 2017, Kristopher was appointed by the FEMA Region IV Administrator to develop and implement the STEP program in the Florida Keys following the devastation of Hurricane Irma. While in this role Kristopher was also tasked DHS to collect and analyze real time data to facilitate program improvement and inform the overall 2017 Hurricane Season After-Action Report (AAR). Following the success of the STEP program in the Florida Keys, Kristopher served as a senior advisor to the disaster housing programs in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Most recently Kristopher served as the program director for the Puerto Rico Tu Hogar Renace program, a 1.3 billion dollar federal program that facilitated the ability of over Puerto Rican households to return to their homes following the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Currently, Kristopher provides executive direction for a team of physical, clinical and financial risk subject mater experts working to improve the efficiency and resiliency of disaster recovery programs across the nation.
