About Kristopher Smith

While my primary title is outage planner and remote monitoring technologies lead, I've covered many roles in this position due to challenges my plant has faced. Primarily, I've been a data analyst using the full microsoft suite to pull and analyze data from databases to ascertain future performance and plan accordingly, and I've worked with existing IT infrastructure to expand and improve the remote monitoring systems for my employer. As a secondary role, I have performed online work planning and dose estimating as an ALARA planner. In addition to that, I've been the IT interface for the RP department, coordinating updates and upgrades, acquiring the appropriate equipment, testing software, performing software upkeep, and budgeting hardware upkeep and upgrades. I also have supervisory experience in nuclear and retail environments. I have experience in Microsoft Access, Excel, Jira, Primavera P6, parsing and modifying SQL code, and troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues.
