Management Professional: A Management Professional with PGD in Plastics Engineering from CIPET after graduating with Physics Honours degree in Science and an MBA post graduate with Operations Management from IGNOU and having 25 years of work experience in plastics manufacturing industry and of which 18 years I’ve worked in the capacity of Plant Head/GM-Works particularly in rigid plastics packaging industry manufacturing bottles jars thin-walled containers lids caps child resistant caps (CRC) CT caps closures droppers press pumps metalized & foiled Caps PET preforms and other articles mainly supplied to Pharma Cosmetics Healthcare FMCG Agrochemicals Food & Beverages Pesticides industries majorly for the MNCs. Having proven track record of managing the manufacturing environment employing all kinds of the latest state-of the art plastics processing technologies (with Robotics as well) such as Injection Moulding-IM Injection Blow Moulding-IBM Extrusion Blow Moulding-EBM Injection Stretch Blow Moulding-ISBM Stretch Blow Moulding-SBM and other post-decoration technologies such as shrink sleeving printing assembling & wading post process labeling In-Mould labeling hot-stamp foiling metalizing coating etc. and have so far got the opportunities of managing plant having resources of 55-60 machinaries workforce 350-500 people a day and achieving a monthly targeted capacity utilization of 1200 MTs processing of plastics/polymer materials. Over the span of 25 years of work tenure I have got good opportunities to have worked with many repute organizations. This has helped me to understand many diverse work environments and tackle many challenges involved myself with many new product developments and validation processes learnt unique and diverse kinds of defects associated with the products and processes and their successful prevention and control through implementing the RCA-CAPA handled and faced many ISO audits customer visits and gained adequate knowledge and experience for handling various Govt. statutory compliance matters implementing the best practices of cGMP discipline in the plant undertook modern approaches to maintain the machineries moulds & tools at top working conditions to achieve and sustain TPM & TQM. Have also handled and resolved workers’ strikes. Apart from processing of plastics materials Polyolefin and PET I am also having good skills experience and understanding in the processing of the engineering plastics such as ABS HIPS PS SAN.
