About Krystal Bishop

As the Education Outreach Coordinator for the Executive Doctoral Programs at the Spears School of Business, I combine strategic event planning with heartfelt student support to create an experience that feels like home for every scholar who walks through our doors. With a strong background in graduate education administration and program coordination, I’m passionate about guiding our Executive PhD and DBA students through their academic journey—from their first Welcome & Orientation to the day they graduate. I act as a connector, a problem-solver, and a constant resource—anticipating needs, removing roadblocks, and helping students achieve their personal and professional goals. Previously, I supported the Vice Dean for Graduate Programs and Research, where I helped launch the Doctoral Student Association of Spears (DSA of Spears), coordinated high-impact events like research receptions, Ph.D. student competitions and advisory board meetings and learned the integral power of building thoughtful academic communities. I believe great leadership is felt in the details—and my mission is to make sure our doctoral students feel supported, celebrated, and seen every step of the way.
