About Krystle Geering

As a Practice Lead at Australian Mentoring Services (AMS), I have the privilege of supervising, supporting, and mentoring our amazing team of direct support employees and Team Leaders who work directly with participants. By role modelling best practices, I guide and inspire our Mentors and Team Leaders to deliver exceptional support to our participants. In my role, I manage the day-to-day operations of our programs, planning and coordinating activities for Mentors, Team Leaders, and myself. Setting and achieving goals is a key part of my work, both for my own tasks and for those of our team, ensuring we meet the diverse needs and goals of our participants. I take initiative in applying established procedures, using my knowledge, judgment, and organisational skills to enhance our service delivery. Working under the guidance of our Director, I implement AMS's procedures and guidelines, ensuring our services align with relevant legislation and the values, vision, mission, policies, and procedures of AMS. A significant part of my role is to champion AMS’s mission, vision, and core values, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence. I also ensure that our services support the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and adhere to the Quality and Safeguarding Commission standards. Every day, I strive to make a positive impact by leading our team to provide high-quality, compliant, and compassionate support to our participants.
