I am currently a post-doctoral trainee on the NIH UAB Immunologic Diseases and Basic Immunology T32 training grant studying multiple myeloma under Dr. Elizabeth E. Brown. I received my Ph.D. in pathology from the Graduate Biomedical Sciences (GBS) program at UAB, studying innate immunology in chronic diseases, including HIV-1 and cancer. In addition to my research, I enjoy spending my time as a volunteer member of the 1917 Clinic Outreach Team where I perform HIV testing and counseling and teach community classes.
