I am a Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of auditing experience, focusing on financial services, manufacturing, and investment banking. I bring a strong record of leading audit projects, mentoring teams, and building effective client relationships to every assignment. Currently, I am part of KPMG Netherlands' financial services audit team. Previously, I spent six years at KPMG India, where I achieved two fast-tracked promotions. In my role at KPMG Netherlands, I successfully led the audit of the financial and capital markets division of the largest bank in the Netherlands, managing critical audit areas with PCAOB and SOX compliances. I also guided a diverse team junior staff members, from various cultural backgrounds, in audit methodology and IFRS standards, and established lasting relationships with senior management. My dedication to efficiency has driven me to implement tools such as Power BI and Alteryx, which enabled deeper and more streamlined data analysis. My tenure at KPMG India allowed me to broaden my expertise across different industries, conducting audits on key areas like revenue, procurement, inventory, and tax. I utilized analytical methods to detect potential discrepancies, assisted finance teams in preparing financial statements under US-GAAP and IFRS for group reporting, and supported tax calculations in compliance with local regulations. Additionally, I worked closely with KPMG’s offshore teams on the SOX audit of a leading global investment bank, assessing risk in transaction processing and financial reporting. In this capacity, I identified process gaps and weaknesses and contributed to implementing corrective actions.
