Technical skills: Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, JIRA, Confluence, AWS, Hive, Hadoop, GAMS, Bloomberg Terminal Here are a few examples of my work: • Hypothesis testing on the Mashable News dataset using R: Validated the claim that having a video in an article boosts the number of shares substantially, by creating a matched sample determined by logistic propensity scores on an open-source dataset containing over observations and 9 features • Stock sentiment analysis using python: Oversaw development of Jupyter notebook which web-scraped news articles calling GoogleNews API, for sentiment analysis using Vader sentiment analyzer and achieved returns outperforming the market by 4%, following sentiment scores for selected stocks • Determination of customer target segments and evaluation of marketing plans based on changes in Customer Life Value Designed a marketing strategy using mock Blue Apron data to target customers for promotional offers who witnessed a 30 percent increase in CLV, increasing the revenue by $1.6 million Additionally, I am a musician at heart. My curiosity has led me to experiment and learn 6 different instruments and music production, all by myself.
