Summary As a senior finance leader with over 20 years experience in financial strategy and operations, I have: 1) Successfully led complex initiatives with a focus on optimizing financial performance. 2) Focused on leading organizational transformation initiatives through effective cross-functional collaboration and proactive stakeholder engagement. 3) Emphatic leader that has cultivated and grown high performing teams that helped deliver large successful projects. Over the last two decades at Freddie Mac, I have been very fortunate to have attained roles that had direct interactions with C-suite leadership. This experience naturally developed the need to be a strategic thinker and master the skill of needing to anticipate business needs and impacts into the future. I managed to be successful in these roles primarily due to my ability to perform analytics and bring data-based decisions to leadership. Most recently, as Senior Director of Business Operations, I spearheaded initiatives that enhanced fiscal discipline and operational efficiency. With a focus on managing a $100M annual budget, I implemented strategies to optimize technology sourcing and risk controls, ultimately fostering business agility and robust financial health. There are two qualities that summarize my brand. 1) I am consistently recognized for the unique ability to drive innovation by identifying creative solutions, optimizing processes, and implementing transformative strategies that deliver measurable results. 2) I have been nominated or selected for many opportunities to be in leadership roles to drive employee engagement programs and Business Resource Groups including other roles that needed a charismatic, personable and motivational servant leader. There are also two personal achievements that harness my strengths in innovation and leadership: 1) I was the Chair and President of the largest youth sports organization in the state of Virginia. I grew the program in player registrations, revenue and fundraising. Most notable was the project that built the lighted/turfed sports facility. I shared my vision with the board on Day 1 to have the organization be recognized on the US soccer map and that was achieved with club winning its first National Championship. 2) Granted a USPTO Patent through the innovative design of a unique sports tool for cross country runners. This was achieved through multiple iterations and the commitment to achieve the final goal of obtaining the patent.
